Edith Tinoco-Ibañez

Edith Tinoco-Ibañez was born in Colombia and raised in Venezuela. She obtained a law degree from Santa Maria University in Caracas, and maintained a private practice there until 2005. Because of her activities in opposition to the government of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, Edith was targeted and persecuted by his supporters. She left Venezuela in 2008, and was granted asylum in the United States in 2010. In addition to her work at the Law Offices of Marie Higuera, Edith practices and instructs yoga, and enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She speaks Spanish and English.
